Why drive this far.

Tucka Trip is a four-and-a-half-month road trip from Boston to Denver, taking the long way around — north through New England and Acadia, west through Toronto and the Great Lakes, up into the Northern Rockies and across the Canadian border to Banff, then south down the Pacific coast, through California's parks, the desert Southwest, and Utah's red rock country before turning east into the Front Range.

The plan is fifty-something stops, a few thousand photographs, and as many field notes as the road allows. Some places we'll know in advance. Most of the good ones, I suspect, we'll find by accident.
